Katy is 2!

My little girl is two - how did that happen? It was a Dora birthday thanks to Aunt Moe, cousin Hannah and grandma. She didn't take these slippers off for almost 24 hours!

A couple of weeks before Thanksgiving Macy's tests their new balloons in our bucolic Flushing Meadows Corona Park. This is (for some reason) a 'private' event. (How four balloons seen from the Grand Central Parkway can be private is a question only Macy's can answer) Katy and cousin Hannah enjoyed their first glimpse of Buzz Lightyear, Horton, a Smurf, and a small green star.

Halloween 2

Katy's first trick or treat house. She walked right into the kitchen and was ready to sit down for dinner! Just candy on Halloween, not meals! (The picture to the right is her being carried back out.)

Katy being her very helpful self and helping Daddy tie up the huge piles of newspaper we let accumulate. This skill will come in handy someday.

Katy takes a walk

On a very warm Presidents Day, Katy took a long walk down 37th Avenue in Woodside. After allowing her parental units a nice lunch in the Sunswick, she was ready to go. She walked from 51st Street to 63rd Street clutching her sippy cut the entire way, keeping hydrated and waving to her public.
